At the King Alfred Federation we believe that every child has the right to access a full and varied curriculum within an environment that ensures each individual is valued and respected. We strive to deliver a differentiated and creative curriculum which meets the needs of each pupil whether their need is academic, physical, emotional, social, sensory or behavioural.
Children with any special need or disability should have the same opportunities to achieve and associate with their peers, and have access to the whole range of opportunities in education, leisure and community activities.
At King Alfred Federation we aim to identify needs as they arise and to provide teaching and learning contexts which enable every child to achieve to their fullest potential.
